Megan Moroney: a small-town Georgia girl takes the country spotlight

In the span of a year, this 27-year-old country artist rises to fame and is on every country radio station at least once. If you don’t know who Megan Moroney is, it’s time to get in the loop! Born in Savannah, GA, she started singing and playing Piano at a young age. She was on the cheerleading team for her high school and also participated in musical theater.

Now, she’s quickly rising to fame as a gorgeous and incredibly talented country superstar!

So, let’s talk about Megan’s most recent album; Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine). This album came out on October 4th, 2024. The first image shows this album making No.1 on top albums this week (country genre).

This album also made No.3 on Apple Music (all genre). “Break It Right Back,” by Megan Moroney was voted Best Song of the Week by followers of @countrycentral on Instagram.

Moroney also has multiple nominations for the CMA awards, including “I’m Not Pretty,” for music video of the year, new artist of the year, and female vocalist of the year. Megan has 7,556,312 monthly listeners. She has two certified gold songs; “No Caller Id,” and “Lucky.”

Megan Moroney’s new album, Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine) received a total of 3,148,656 streams on its first full day being released. Songs like “Am I Okay?” and “Break It Right Back,” received the most streams on the first day. Megan gained popularity after she released the song “Tennessee Orange.” That song has over 156 million global streams as of March 2023.

Megan’s tour for Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine) sold out in the span of a week. The only tickets left that are available are resale tickets. Most states including Georgia have no tickets; even resale, available. Megan released new tour dates and locations on Monday, October 7th. They go on sale Wednesday, October 9th at 10 AM.

Megan is not only a singer/songwriter, but she is also an inspiration to anybody who wants to chase their dreams, but are too afraid they’ll fail.

Megan has shared very inspirational words, especially at the Sun Goes Down tour in Atlanta, GA on May 18th, 2024. She was touring with Kenney Chesney and after she was done performing she closed out her speech with an interesting thought.

A few years ago, I was in this same stadium in the nosebleeds watching Kenney perform, and today I’m on the stage singing with him.
