I blinked and the two months of staying up late every night, sleeping in every day, swimming and tanning all went away, and now it’s time for school. The good side of that is back-to-school shopping, getting new classes, seeing old friends and meeting new ones. But school also means working a lot, writing, cramming for tests, and waking up early, which is, honestly, the worst part.
All of those things can create and bring you a lot of stress and sleepless nights. This article is going to go over all the ways you can avoid that stress while also staying on top of your schoolwork and acing those tests.

Stay on top of your work
The first and most important way is to avoid slacking. That means finish your work and don’t be lazy. I know it can seem like a lot to do at the time, but if you just take it class by class, then you won’t have to start and finish multiple assignments with only a few hours until they’re due. As soon as you see something’s missing, do it! This includes homework.

Study, Study, Study
The second way is to study, study, study. Studying is the best way to guarantee that you pass a test or even a quiz. There are multiple methods you can use to study. A few include making flash cards, doing study games, and rereading and writing the answers and questions over and over again. You can make it fun by adding bright and bold colors and using pretty handwriting. Studying is the best way to be -and stay- prepared.
By failing to prepare, you’re preparing to fail

Sleep is your best friend
The final way is getting enough sleep. The recommended amount of hours for our age group is 8 hours a night. Sleep provides energy, which you need to work hard and do well. Sleeping has multiple benefits. It can rebuild our muscles, help prevent us from getting sick, and can also help us focus better. In addition to the other benefits, it can also improve our mood.

Good luck this year!
To close this article out, I just want to say that school can be fun and good for us if we look at it the right way. Don’t slack, study a lot, get enough sleep, and you can even romanticize school the way you want. Look at it like a happy place, not a prison, and you’ll get through the year with a positive mindset and amazing grades. Just remember, everything is what you make it, so make it good.
