The CHS Varsity Football Team lost their first game of the season on Friday, Aug. 19, against the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes at home at Tommy Baker Field with a final score of 35-0.
Although the first half against Cartersville was defeating, the Warriors held off Cartersville to only one touchdown during the second half.
Cherokee now holds a 0-1 record.

The team battled hard in their first home game of the season. We are proud of our CHS Varsity Football Warriors for their diligent work.
The Warriors will take on Etowah, tonight, Aug. 26, at 7:30 p.m. away at and the theme will be Red Out. Come out and support your Warriors as they face the Eagles!
