When I think of February, I picture a field of red and white roses filled with chocolate truffles. What do you think? Probably something related to Valentine’s Day as well. This is most definitely because of how strong a holiday Valentine’s Day has become in the U.S. It’s so integrated into culture that decorations at stores start turning pink the moment Christmas rolls around.
Valentine’s Day started as a Christian feast in honor of a saint. However, against all odds, it turned into a day to celebrate and honor relationships among friends and loved ones, including a lot of gift giving and chocolate eating. If giving sweets is a must, these are some suggestions about what to get the ones you love this year.
All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt.

Lindt
Without a doubt, Lindt Chocolate is the highlighted chocolate of the Valentine’s season. As the entire country is covered with all types of chocolate during this time, this is the one that always stands out. Though I have met people who do not like this, Lint’s Lindor treats are the favorites of an indistinguishable number. It is really hard to miss with this one.

Always packed in a stunning gift box, these truffles use Lindt’s high- quality and carefully sourced ingredients and are made with a caring amount of time. This explains the deliciousness of the varying melting flavors inside each one of them.

Ghirardelli
Ghirardelli is an American chocolate company founded by an Italian immigrant that has been operating since 1852 and is the face of rich Italian chocolate in the U.S. Known for their beautiful and delicious Valentine’s Day packaging, they are a go-to during this season. They offer distinctive truffles in various flavors. The best choice of chocolate for anyone!

Ferrero Rocher
Known for their fanciness, Ferrero Rocher had to make this list. As a kid, I used to look at those golden wrappers and think to myself, This chocolate is fancy; it must be dipped in real gold! Though that was a child’s thought, I still think their taste is quite hard to match.

This delirious Italian milk chocolate truffle has a roasted hazelnut in its core surrounded by a creamy hazelnut filling and a thin waffle shell around it. With its delicious and remember able taste, this chocolate is set apart from the others, making it the favorite of many.

A Little Bit of Everything
Though it is hard to believe, not everyone adores chocolate. And if you truly plan to impress someone like that, a gift must be something more than just a chocolate gift box that they are likely to give away. Knowing the person you are gifting is the key to impressing them for Valentine’s.
My favorite thing to do for times like this is to organize my own gift basket. This is perfect for picky eaters or just someone who likes a little bit of everything. Organizing a basket full of Valentine’s Day cards, love, and care. Making it a beautiful gift from the bottom of your heart is, in my opinion, the best sweet to give of all.
