Out of the 2,000 plus students that attend Cherokee, we are going to focus on one who knows how to balance home life, school life, and sports. There are lots of students that attend Cherokee High School, but we are going to focus on one who is a hard worker and knows how to balance their home life and school life all while playing sports. Anna Maddox is very into sports and hanging out with friends but still manages to keep outstanding grades and stay on top of all her assignments. She’s truly someone you could look up to.
What is your favorite hobby to do in your free time?
I play softball and that takes up a lot of my free time, but if I’m free I like walking.
2. What’s a movie you could watch over and over again and not get tired of?
I really love rom coms so like, 10 things I hate about you.
Even though Anna loves softball and it takes lots of her time she still makes time to watch her favorite rom-coms.
3. What’s 5 descriptive words to describe your family?
My family, unorganized, were really just all over the place, everyone is really caring, my sister is like weird but funny, loving and compassionate.

4. What’s one snack you crave when you get home from school everyday?
Honestly any type of cheez-its, but especally white cheddar cheez-its.
5. If you had to spend the whole day with one person who would it be?
Probably, my sister or my best friends.

6. Do you have any siblings and if so who’s your favorite?
Well, I only have one sibling her name is, Juliet, shes in seventh grade so shes kind of annoying but like I quess shes my favorite.
Even though Anna thinks her sister is annoying she said it with a smile on her face and giggled because she still loves her.
7. What college do you want to attend and why?
My dream school is UGA, because I like the atmosphere and its kind of close to home, and I have been a bulldogs fan most of my life.

8. What job do you want to do when your older?
I want to be a Pediatric Therapist because I like working with kids, but I don’t want all the gross stuff.
Anna has big goals in life, and she is definitely on the path to accomplishing these goals of hers. Life can get crazy at times, and you can be stressed out with grades and sports, but Anna knows how to balance both and keep time to spend with her family and friends. With softball and her dream to be a Pediatric Therapist, she can definitely find a way to become a Bulldog at UGA. Anna Maddox is such an inspiration for people, and doing all of this as a freshman is impressive and shows she will accomplish her goals in life.
