CHS Varsity Basketball boys dominate against Alpharetta for their last game of the season

The CHS Varsity Basketball boys secured the win in their tenth and final conference game of the season on Friday, Feb. 4, against the Alpharetta Raiders at home with a final score of 81-40.

Headed into the game, Cherokee was picked to win. Cherokee and Alpharetta had previously played each other, and Cherokee came out on top with a final score of 80-56.

Right out of the gate, Cherokee was on fire, taking the lead early in the first quarter. It wasn’t until later in the first quarter that Alpharetta scored their first points.

Throughout the entire game, Cherokee continued to dominate against the Raiders. The game ended exactly as predicted, with Cherokee doubling Alpharetta in points for their last game of the season.
