What is something that you want people to know about you?

I am the president of the drama club this year.
What do you like the most about Cherokee?
I like the community and teachers that are at Cherokee, because everyone is willing to help you succeed.
What are you involved in at Cherokee and in the community?
I’m involved in the theatre department at Cherokee. I help run shows, do tech, and all around help in any way I can. Any time that we have class meetings or sports banquets, I help set up the projector, turn on lights and make sure the speaker has a microphone and the sound working.
What hobbies or interests do you have?
My hobbies include baking, painting, sewing, and doing sound and lights for theatre.

What is your favorite subject?
My favorite subject is theatre, because theatre is a place where I can go and feel safe. Theatre is my home away from home.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received/given?
The best piece of advice someone has given me was in my freshman year my director, Dr. Burn. She said to stage crew, “you are the magic behind Disney” meaning that without us there wouldn’t be a show. This meant a lot to me back then, and now, because she made me feel important.
We wish her the best of luck after graduation. She is going to Kennesaw State University to major in Early Childhood Education, and will continue to do great things.
So proud to be your Aunt! You are truly an inspiration to so many and definitely the star of every show in my eyes!
