About: Ansley Gulledge

What’s something interesting you want people to know about you?

I played the violin for 8 years and still love listening to classical music to this day!

What do you like the most about Cherokee?

I like Cherokee’s diversity amongst the students and across the classes offered. There is a wide variety of classes to take depending on your interests as well as so many different people you can meet through these classes!

What are you involved in at the school and in the community?

I am president of the Cherokee FFA Chapter, a 2 year Varsity Cherokee volleyball player, an SGA representative for my class and a Cherokee SALT member. Outside of Cherokee, I play beach volleyball at S3 Volleyball.

What’s your favorite subject?

My favorite subject is literature.

What hobbies and interests do you have?

I play beach volleyball, I love to bake, and I love to read!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received/given?

The best piece of advice I have ever received is in a quote, “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” I love this quote because I often find myself comparing myself to someone who has a natural talent and knows they do, this pushes me even harder to do my best and work harder than them!

We extend our best wishes for Ansley as she continues here at Cherokee, and know she will do great things!
