Temperatures around Cherokee so far this week dropped to below freezing, and expected to go to record lows, so now is the perfect time to donate coats and blankets to families in need!
As we all swap our sandals and shorts for scarves boots, surely you’ve come across a sweater from a family member with the tag still on, or an extra pack of bed sheets! From now until November 20, Cherokee will be collecting unused winter items.
Clothing, such as coats, jackets, sweaters, gloves, hats, and scarves, in all sizes are needed, along with warm winter bedding, including sheets, blankets, and bed covers. All of these much needed items will go straight back to the warrior nation, helping families in need.
All donations can be brought to room 703 at Cherokee North, or room 309 on main.
