The American Childhood Cancer Organization was created by parents whose children were diagnosed by cancer in 1970, and it is also a public charity. They are committed to raising awareness, supporting research for these children, and to provide free educational resources to kids who have been diagnosed with cancer, families and also survivors.

Tackle Kids Cancer Day supports the research trying to be done and programs to care for patients at the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center.

To tackle kid’s cancer you can fundraise, donate or join events to help raise money to make a better future for kids who are diagnosed with cancer. 6 million dollars have been raised and there have been 12 neuro-oncology trials.

A run for Tackle Kids Cancer is coming up on November 2, 2019 and it is the 2019 TCS NYC Marathon, and other events such as races are coming up such as the Philadelphia Half & Full Marathon, Jersey Shore Half Marathon, Miami Half & Full Marathon and others.

Eli Manning has a challenge where he challenges volunteers and other kids to support the cause of tackling kids cancer. He has committed 100,000 dollars to equal the fundraising from groups such as Youth Sports Team and School and Scouts teams. The Giants have inspired a bunch of fundraisers to help raise money for this cause.

Honor this day by contributing money to one of these organizations as well as keeping these children on your heart.
