The CHS Varsity Football Team will kickoff the 2023 football season Friday, August 11, in their preseason scrimmage against the Creekview Grizzlies at home at Tommy Baker Field. Unlike years prior, the scrimmage will kickoff at 7 p.m..
I’m excited to see our team perform as a unit this year, we have done a lot of team bonding and we have been sharp on offense and this year should be a fun one.

Tickets for both the game, $8, and parking, $5, can be purchased online on GoFan. Cherokee non-passholders should enter through the home team gate on the south end of the stadium. Tommy Baker Field still holds a no bag policy, therefore no backpacks or purses will be permitted into the stadium.
We are looking forward to an amazing season, we have worked day in and day out all summer to prepare for this upcoming season and making it special.

The theme for the scrimmage is “Hunting for a Win”. Cherokee Tribe encourages students to dress out in their best camo wear in support of the team.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how our team has developed from last year, and seeing all our hard work pay off.

The Warriors will take on the Creekview Grizzlies, Friday, August 11, at 7:00 p.m. at Tommy Baker Stadium, and the theme will be “Camo Out”. Come out and support your Warriors as they face the Grizzlies!
