Behind the mask: Sophomore: Brooke Watson

Brooke Watson, CHS sophomore, was nominated by Ms. Floyd to be spotlighted as Warrior of the Week in our Behind the Mask series.

I have enjoyed having Brooke in Lit class this year. She is a responsible, independent, and intrinsically motivated student. I admire the confidence she carries herself with. She is friendly, polite, and kind. She enjoys reading and writing and genuinely cares about her education. She is a good influence on her friends without trying to be. I think her six-word story from the beginning of the year showcases her uniqueness and creativity: “Mud and Mascara kind of girl.”  She knows who she is, and she lives her truth in a way that shines.
