Makenzie Bird // Editor-in-Chief
Makenzie Bird is a senior at Cherokee and this is her fourth year writing with The Warrior Word. She is class president and interns with Enjoy Cherokee magazine. Outside of journalism, Makenzie loves reading, crochet, playing the piano, and sitcoms like Parks & Recreation.

Claire Green is a senior and this is her fourth year on staff. She enjoys cooking, playing the piano, fly fishing, photography, and spending time with friends and family. In school, she enjoys math and biology.
Amelia Buhl // Project Manger
Amelia Buhl is a junior at CHS, and this is her third year writing for The Warrior Word. Some of Amelia’s goals for the school year are to get good grades, get involved, and meet new people. Outside of journalism, she loves to participate in creative and artistic activities, music, and reading. Amelia is super excited to be a part of the journalism staff and loves CHS!
